With a focus on fun, fresh, and flavorful Mexican food, the owner also infuses his Indian background into dishes like tofu tacos with traditional Eastern spices. Cantina 73's cooks, one a native of Guanajuato in central Mexico, and the other from the capital of the Mexican state of Michoacan, bring authentic heritage and time-honored recipes of their homeland to Mount Pleasant. "Cantina" translates to "canteen", which means that diners will also find an extensive drink menu to accompany the bright flavors found on the food menu. The owner and staff at Catina 73 look forward to welcoming the residents of Mount Pleasant, as well as travelers along Highway 73, to experience our warm hospitality and authentic Mexican flavors.
